The Firm
Margie Strub is a construction law firm which provides a broad array of legal services to the construction industry.
Our team represents all parties within the construction industry, including owners, developers, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, lenders, and sureties.
Beginning at the early stages of project development, we assist clients in determining the best legal structure and project delivery model for their project or pursuit. We draft and negotiate a wide range of construction and related contracts. We also provide course-of-project advice tailored to resolving claims and issues without litigation.
When disputes arise, we provide effective, efficient, and zealous advocacy to our clients. Our team handles a wide variety of complex construction disputes, including liens, civil actions, and arbitrations.
At Margie Strub, you will learn about the full breadth of construction law, working side-by side with lawyers and all seniority levels. We pride ourselves on our openness and inclusivity, work-life balance and competitive compensation structure.

Articling Student Program:
The articling program will naturally be an extension of our summer student program for a period of 10 months.
Articling students will also be eligible to enroll in our firm’s group benefits program, receive 10 days paid vacation time, and membership to various associations.
The firm will generally not take part in Toronto’s formal articling recruitment process because it intends to have all its summer students return as its articling students.
