Simren is an Associate at Margie Strub Construction Law LLP. Simren is a passionate and vivacious advocate. In his first-year of law school Simren was ranked the top oral advocate of his class. With the personal encouragement of the Associate Dean, he mooted in several competitive mooting competitions and was consistently ranked amongst the top oral advocates. He was a member of Western Law’s Advocacy Committee and judged and selected law school students for future competitive mooting competitions.

Prior to joining the firm, Simren completed his articles at a boutique business law firm in Toronto. He has appeared before various Courts and Tribunals in Ontario and achieved successful outcomes.

Simren has experience in many diverse areas of the law, such as bankruptcy and insolvency, construction, contract, corporate finance, defamation, employment, franchise, mergers and acquisitions, insurance, real property, and securities.

Since his first-year as a summer student, he has worked predominantly in the area of commercial and construction litigation, and has dealt with multi-million dollar disputes. His passion and experience in the construction industry is why Simren makes an excellent addition to our firm.
