
Darina Mishiyev
Senior Law Clerk and Adjudication Coordinator

Darina is a Senior Law Clerk with over 17 years of litigation experience with a specialization in
construction law. Darina has extensive experience with all aspects of construction litigation
including lien registration, drafting of pleadings and motions, e-discovery, enforcement
procedures, trial preparation, adjudication, appeals, assessments, and arbitration.
Prior to joining Margie Strub Construction Law LLP, Darina was a senior law clerk at a mid-sized
construction law firm in downtown Toronto.
Darina has authored numerous articles and guides including a Guide to Conduct and
Enforcement of Adjudication in Ontario, Liening Municipal Lands in Ontario, and other practical
articles focusing on construction lien procedures and Practice Directions.
Darina graduated with Honours from Seneca College in 2008 and continues to advance her
professional development through continuing education at Osgoode Hall Law School and the
Construction Institute of Canada.
Darina also acts as the firm’s adjudication coordinator, bringing her in-depth knowledge of
adjudication procedures and the prescribed processes established by ODACC.
