
Daniel is an associate at Margie Strub Construction Law LLP, where he has a diverse construction
practice with a focus on dispute resolution, including litigation, arbitration, and mediation.
Daniel is committed to providing exceptional client service and finding efficient, cost-effective
solutions to complex legal problems.
Daniel has represented a broad spectrum of clients, ranging from individuals to large contractors
involved in major infrastructure and transit projects. This diverse experience allows him to
understand the unique requirements of each case, and to provide solutions tailored to the
needs of every client.
Daniel has experience at all stages of the litigation process. He has regularly appeared before
the Ontario Superior Court of Justice.
Before joining the firm, Daniel worked for a large multinational insurance carrier where he
gained valuable experience representing individuals and businesses in a variety of litigation
matters, including construction defects, product liability, property damage, breach of contract,
fraud, and personal injury.

Representative Work
- Bridge Infrastructure: Acting for a joint venture contractor in a dispute related to the negligent
design and supply of a key bridge component. - Delay: Acting for a large construction contractor who completed the construction of a major
entertainment facility with respect to a claim for delay and breach of contract against a
structural steel subcontractor. - Waterfront Infrastructure: Acting for a contractor in respect of course-of-project advice, claims
against owner, and subcontractor claims related to a waterfront infrastructure project.
- Bridge Infrastructure: Acting for a joint venture contractor in a dispute related to the negligent
design and supply of a key bridge component. - Food Processing Facility: Acting for a concrete supplier in a dispute for damages resulting from
the alleged negligent supply of concrete. - Adjudication: Successfully represented a contractor on a public infrastructure project in an
adjudication. - Lien Proceedings: Counsel for contractors in construction lien actions with respect to claims for
breach of contract and delay, and in defence of counterclaims for deficiencies and delay. - Breach of trust claims: Counsel for owners with respect to claims for breach of trust.
- Tarion Claim: Successfully advised homeowner on Financial Loss Claim against Tarion.
